i was baffled by my friend's intention of this comment when i see her nick on msn.
find that her views were a bit too strong. but of coz she's entitled to state wat she thinks.
ok.. i wanted to go one long long post talking abt how our police shld be allowed to make mistake once and etc..(ok.. just trying to act that i do keep up with current affairs.)
but actually, i dun really care.
and yes, people of that race looks more or less the same to me.
i dun even think i can recognise the person on the street.
ok.. maybe only the fact that he's really very short (1.58m), might catch my attention.
so in actual fact, i dun really care abt current affairs.
but i must comment that keeping up with the happenings locally and around the world is a good way to keep conversation going.
(this is wat i think after joining the yishun ppl's gathering for the first time.)
and wikipedia is really such a great place to gain general knowledge.
interestingly, i stumbled upon the person jim gray.. (coz i read abt him from the microsoft worldwide telescope) and this lead me to read more abt the turing award, which then led me to read abt the artificial intelligence and some science fiction authors.
it's really just nice coz they talked a bit abt these topic just now while we were having dinner.
although i din really talked much, it's still good that i had a general idea what they were talking abt. hahaha.. but probably becoz more than half present are engineering students, thus they talked abt such technical things.
anyway, was really glad to join them for the gathering. happy that they like wat i made~ (all finished up!) and just pure happy to see them after such a long long time. :)
shall invite them over to my house after the exams! :)
oh! and thanks quek for the ride home. although ur joke was really a bit...diaoz... but i got back at u with the slap on the head! hahaha..
but but but.. sorry sorry... it was really dangerous for everyone on the car.
